PPID360 Process 1 copy 1. The Patient’s details (JIM SMITH) are setup on the PAS/ PMS and they are marked as Arrived

2. PPID360 electronically receives the Patient Details and the fact that they have arrived

3. PPID360 is used to print the Wristbands on the Wristband printer

4. Patient is presented with Version 1 of their Wristband

5. PPID360 Wristband Version Web Service is updated to reflect the first version for JIM SMITH.

PPID360 Process 2 copyPatient has given the wrong name!
1. The Patient Details are updated on the PAS/ PMS and the Forename is changed from JIM to JAMES

2. PPID360 receives the update and flags the Patient Record as ‘Record Changed after Print’

3. A reprint alert is sent to the current Ward team looking after JAMES SMITH informing them to reprint the Wristband and to destroy the old one

4. PPID360 Up-to-date data Web Service status has been changed for JIM SMITH informing any listening systems that the current Wristband is not displaying the
latest Patient data

5. Ward team reprint JAMES SMITH’s Wristband and the Wristband is now marked as Version 2

6. PPID360 Up-to-date data Web Service status has been changed to reflect that the Wristband is now current

7. PPID360 Wristband Version Web Service is updated to reflect the new version for JAMES SMITH

 

Patient loses the Wristband!

1. PPID360 is used to reprint the Wristband

2. PPID360 logs the User attempting to action the reprint and asks them why a reprint is necessary

3. Reason is logged or sent for authorisation

4. PPID360 is used to print the Wristbands on the Wristband printer

5. Patient is presented with Version 3 of their Wristband

6. PPID360 Wristband Version Web Service is updated to reflect the new version for JAMES SMITH
