Vital360

Vital360_Logo 2015Vital360 builds on the Bloodhound Observations Module and turns it into a full Hospital-wide Observations and Decision Support tool. It is a long established fact that timely observations and the early warning score (EWS) taken from these observations saves lives and improves the care provided to a patient by the hospital – often paper based solutions take too long or even worse observations can be missed.

This is where Vital360 takes over by extending the enforced and monitored observations element of Bloodhound and takes it Hospital-wide. Bloodhound is the leading Blood Tracking system in the UK and has been used in the NHS since 2006.

Hospital-wide access to Observation Charts & EWS

Vital360 gives professionals anywhere in the hospital instant access to patient vital statistics, EWS and Observation Charts from any connected device in the Hospital including Windows Mobile and CE devices, Microsoft PC’s, Tablets and Laptops, Google Android Devices (e.g. Panasonic Tough Pad and Motorola ET1) and any device supporting HTML 5.0 such as Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod Devices.

Post Observation Calculation Engine

This allows the Hospital to build their own statistical calculations based on the current observations taken and generate a custom score.

Hospital, Department, Ward and Bed Environment Builder

This allows the Hospital to build their environment in the Vital360 system which can then be used with the Observation and Communication Packs.

Optional PAS Integration

Vital360 can operate by utilising the Patient Demographics from the 2D Barcode on the Wristband but if this is not available or the Hospital wants a ‘belt-and-braces’ approach then the system can be linked to their PAS. The system can operate in A&E too when patient information may not be available.

Post Observation Calculation Engine

This allows the Hospital to build their own statistical calculations based on the current observations taken and generate a custom score.

Full Reporting, Display and Chart Generator

The system has a fully featured reporting engine and includes the ability to display the Observation Data in many different forms both on screen and on paper. For example, the system can be set to automatically print an observation chart on a wireless printer at the bedside or it can as easily be setup to print a detailed colour EWS chart to the local Ward printer. Output from this generator can also be produced in PDF, XLS, XML and HTML formats and then emailed or displayed on a screen.
