MSoft BloodHound Rapid, is a special rapid implementation solution designed for smaller sized hospital Trusts

Rapid has the same functionality of the standard BloodHound solution, but is designed to be quick and easy to implement.

From purchasing to final Go Live, Rapid ensures the Trust save money whilist increasing patient safety in the shortest possible time frame.

The Rapid Solution can also be purchased with the new Biometric Finger print reader for the Kiosks. This removes the issues associated with using ID cards, such as card swapping. Biometrics provides a more secure and easier to use logon process.

Because MSoft has invested heavily in ensuring BloodHound Rapid is quick to install and implement we can pass on the savings to our clients.

A Rapid Bedside Solution Pack is also available.

System is supplied with the following:

IT Requirements

The system requires the following infractructure:

• Central server running Windows 2003 server. This can be a Virtual Server
• Separate SQL 2005 database
• The Trust will need to install the Trust standard Windows XP build onto each Kiosk
• An available power socket will be required next to each fridge
• An available LAN socket will be required next to each fridge

*Current Standard Lab information Interface is defined as a Blood Hound Interface to iSoft-Telepath, Clinisys-WinPath, Clinisys-Labcentre, EDSP-IPS and Meditech-outbound only, other interfaces available on request
**A standard installation assumes each kiosk is located next to (within 2 metres) or on top of the fridge using an IBM Kiosk standard wall or desk mounting kit. If the Kiosk is to be wall mounted a suitable fixing will be required to take 10kg of weight.
