Correct identification of body and tagging

Once a body has been confirmed as the correct body a receipt can be printed, with a detailed summary of the body. Additionally there is a facility to Print Wristbands.

Safe and Secure

Track where the body is to the exact fridge, ability to have locking mechanisms on the fridges preventing the wrong body being removed, and audit trail of how long the body has been in the fridge. User profiles ensure people only see what they have access to see. Each user has own login details and all process is fully audited. 

Effective communication

On the ward access to the system is via a browser interface allowing an alert to the mortuary letting them know that a body is on the way, with details. Link to bereavement care by sending a message to bereavement care worker to alert them that a family may require advice, counselling etc. Real time view of the system.

Tracking activity

Anything that is referred will be tracked back with all activity being logged and audited.

Tracking blocks

Samples taken e.g. organ parts, tissue, including weight of the organ is being tested.

Release process

Creation of dispatch note and possible 2D barcodes containing relevant data to be used in the funeral home.Electronic sign off by coroner.

Reporting

Full reporting tools allows reports to be run against the data capture. Customised reports can be created. Reports creadted in PDF and XLS formats.
