2011 has been a very busy year so far for us at MSoft and
one of the highlights has been an extremely successful trip to Sydney, where we
exhibited Bloodhound for the first time at HAA.
The response we received has been beyond expectations and
has meant plenty of follow up work for the team back in the UK.

MSoft Secures Double Contract Win To Install Blood Tracking Technology
MSoft have signed deals with the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to install web-based electronic blood tracking and bedside management technology at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and Torbay Hospital. The plan is to roll the solution out to other parts of both Trusts during the next 18 months.
Christmas is a time for giving. As in previous years, MSoft is sending out electronic Christmas cards to customers and suppliers and once again the money saved on postage and printing will be donated to charity.
MSoft have invested a further £10,000 into making sure the company has the best data centre facilities available. The upgrade sees an improvement in network-attached storage, a convenient method of sharing data which will lead to benefits such as faster data access, easier administration and increased security.
MSoft have produced their own “YouTube-style” video demonstrating some of the features of BloodHound, one of the most innovative blood tracking solutions in the market. The company made a decision to do this after receiving a number of enquiries from overseas hospitals and organisations.
MSoft Blood Tracking Solution is now iPad Compatible
We are the only blood tracking specialist whose technology is fully compatible with the Apple iPad. In recent weeks we have been talking to a number of NHS Trusts about the possibility of introducing iPads on to wards.
MSoft have won a contract to supply the Countess of Chester Hospital with a biometric fingerprint device which controls access to blood and is also working with Lincoln Hospital to supply the country's first chip and pin blood tracking system, which is designed to improve blood transfussion patient safety.
MSoft have completed the implementation of a full AssetHound Solution for the Technical Support Services Department (part of the Facilities Directorate), based at Inverurie Hospitals.
In November 2008 MSoft held its first annual Blood User Group meeting; this was a good opportunity for MSoft's Blood Tracking Customers to meet and discuss the future design of the blood tracking software.
May 22nd 2007 Bolton Hospitals NHS Trust, a pioneer of implementing lean methodology in the NHS, is the latest UK NHS trust to commit to MSoft's Blood tracking solution.
September 2007 Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the latest UK NHS trust to commit to MSoft's Blood tracking solution to provide accountability for all transfusions performed by the Trust which serves a population of 500 000 in Gloucestershire and neighboring counties.
April 2nd 2007, the staff at Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust behind their innovative new blood tracking system have welcomed the response from the Clinical Pathology Accreditation (CPA) UK, whose role as an independent inspection organisation it is to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.
