In 2003, MSoft was awarded the contract for the implementation of a completed Asset Tracking and Maintenance system (MSoft Asset Hound) for TecServ UK (then a division of FCM Holdings PLC). The contract award was very much based upon the ability of MSoft to work in close partnership with its clients to achieve common goals by configuring and tailoring a system to the specific needs of the users.
TecServ are a company dedicated to the supply and maintenance of industrial and commercial cleaning equipment. Equipment is tracked, serviced and maintained over hundreds of sites on behalf of many customers across the UK and the Internet based MSoft Asset Hound solution has allowed TecServ to achieve a competitive edge and cost savings in this highly competitive market.
The TecServ Asset Hound system is a true multi tier asset management solution. TecServ offer equipment tracking and maintenance services to major cleaning and maintenance contractors. Each of these customers uses this equipment over their own customers sites throughout the UK. Therefore, TecServ are required to maintain their customer’s equipment on their customer’s customer sites with many points of contact and interaction with the system at each level.
MSoft have taken the standard features of the online asset management module and further enhanced them to produce a truly cutting edge offering.
As a result of launching the new system, TecServ won substantial new business and achieved significant operational improvements.
In 2007, TecServ UK was bought by Premiere Products, an independent manufacturer of high performance cleaning chemicals and machines and distributor of cleaning systems and equipment. Following this and the appointment of a new management team, MSoft were asked to work on a further project with TecServ to enhance the existing system bringing customer services and service level achievement to the very forefront of the system. This project brought with it the ability to engage the very latest in technology to achieve TecServ’s objectives. Once again, the project required MSoft and TecServ to work in close partnership under an agile project methodology to deliver on the requirements of the TecServ users, management team and customers.
The resulting system is revolutionary and once again, TecServ have been awarded new contracts based on the flexibility and ability to deliver true management control and customer visibility.
